Typical "Before" and "After" Complete Restoration
Shown at right is a typical "before" restoration. This is a 1930 Ford Model A Sport Coupe.
For more than forty years Don Turley has been tinkering with Model A Fords and restoring them from rust
buckets to "like-new" showroom condition. He is known in Model A
circles practically all over the United States because of his devout
devotion to the hobby. He participates in discussions on internet
message boards and offers his professional services to those who are
collectors of the Model A Ford. An engineer by education and
a United States Army Vietnam veteran, Don is fully employed in
restoring the Model A Ford and offering for sale quality parts, both
original and reproduction.
About a year or more later the same identical car (left) with itsafter" look as commissioned by the late Dr. Joe Garrison of North, SC.
For
your own restoration, please give Don a telephone call or email. Don
specializes in a complete or partial restoration. He generally
outsources the body work and painting as well as engine overhauls, but
has expertise in many other aspects of the restoration including
upholstery and tops. Plus, he can generally locate for the Model A
enthusiast and restorer those hard-to-find original parts.
